Graphics Cards?

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on graphics cards that are DDR2 mainly because that's the type of ram that is in my computer and all my motherboard can take. I have seen some at circuit city that are pretty cheap and can handle DX11 but I'm not so sure if the price being low like that can be a good thing or a bad thing. What can you guys suggest? P.S. I'm using a 9500 gt geforce and I think its time to upgrade a little:)

You probaly don't want a card with DDR2 on it, doesnt matter if your pc uses that or not. What motherboard do you have? Is it AGP or Pcie slot for your graffics card? Once we know that and know what budget you have will find the best bang for the buck for ya.

I have an asus mother board cant tell you the model because i am not at home. I can tell you though that it has 1 pci express slot and i think 2 pci ports. Thats all i can tell you for now until i get home.

Oh and another thing which i dont know if itt would be a factor but i have 4 gigs of ddr2 ram.

Good glad its Pcie......the ram your system uses has no bearing on the type of ram the video card uses. Whats your budget?

Yeah that would be a huge upgrade from what i have. I know you guys probably dont buy locally but do you think best buy would sell this or something equvialent to this. (In case i dont want to wait for the shipping , then again it will most likely be cheaper on newegg plus free shipping.)

Best buy is always higher priced and has limited stock........Newegg/Tiger Direct ect. are gonna be cheaper and have more of what your looking for, shipping usually only takes a few days after order.

Ok cool. Before I try and upgrade I just got an email from dice giving me a alpha test because I bought the limited edition of BFBC2.(I think. Yay me lol) So I'm going to try and run the game as high as I can or see if I can run it at all. Hopefully I don't have to upgrade just yet. Thanks for the help though snatchy. ;D

Cool, keep in mind that the alpha will run a little different than the final product....but should give you a feel for how your system will handle it. Let us know what you think of it please.

Not so good, probly better than what you have but not by much......for the price that 1 I posted would be a really solid card. If your budget is 75.00 or so like that card then it might be the best at that price I dunno. How's the game run??????
